Reverse testimonial

I don’t speak norwegian, but a friend sent me the link to this story on Dagbladet, the leading newspaper in Norway, stating that french apparel maker Lacoste asked discreetly the Oslo Police to stop Anders Breivik, the Utoya slaughterer, from wearing items sporting the famous little crocodile when he appears in public.

Is this reasonable or even legal?

Should then Macdonald’s refuse to sell hamburgers or Coke to sell soft drinks to sickos? Mind you, I hope this guy never ever gets out of the slammer, but on which grounds can he (or anyone) be prevented from wearing items he has legally purchased?
