For the thousandth time…

…I know I should not marvel, but it’s just too awesome.

My computer flashes a “Low battery” warning for my Bluetooth keyboard; I slip in a fresh set of batteries, but the keyboard won’t turn on. There are not many things you can attempt to revive it – this is a fairly simple device with few moving parts, none of which have any effect if the Power On is not operative.

So I Google  “Apple bluetooth keyboard died” and the first result is this. I steal some tinfoil from a colleague’ lunch sandwich wrapping and bingo! keyboard’s back.

How did they do this before the Internet ?
