As it so often happens with Jeff Jarvis, a well-written article on the spat between News Corp. and Google.
My own little perspective is that italian media have been bashing Google quite a bit recently, and if I wanted to conspiracy-theorize I’d put it down to the desire to please Murdoch out of the desire to displease Berlusconi. Which reminds me of how much we saluted Google making Microsoft their bitch back a few years; and people old like me remember Microsoft taming IBM before that.
Seems we always need a new hero to save us from the current villain, only to realize that the hero is even worse than the villain it fought.
